So I bought the fabulous book called "My Sister's Keeper" by author Jodi Picoult. This book tells the tale of a 13 year old girl named Anna. Anna's older sister Kate has a rare type of leukemia called APL. Ever since she was born, Anna has had to donate organs and blood to help keep Kate alive. Hence the title: My Sister's Keeper. This is all fine with Anna until one day her mother asks her to donate a kidney to Kate. Anna doesn't like this so she goes to a lawyer named Campbell Alexander and sues her parents for medical emancipation (right's to her own body).
I think that this book is perfect. The only thing that I would change is the ending. (SPOILER ALERT) I do not like how Jodi Picoult ends the book with a car accident. Most people would think that the book would end with Kate dying. Since she doesn't, Picoult must have wanted some twist (irony) for the end. So she made Anna die. It was the saddest part of the entire book. So sad that I started to bawl. :-(
Other then that, I would recommend this book to anyone who wants some drama and some comedy in their books. I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. If you like this book, you may also be interested in any of the other books by Jodi Picoult including "The Pact" and "Handle with Care". I am currently reading the second book mentioned and that will be my next blog. If I don't forget. So come back soon for the blog on "Handle with Care"
P.S. I commented on Hannah's blog

hey alli isn't it a great book? I love this book so much i could marry it! My favorite part is when Anna tells thee court that Kate wanted to die. You said that you didn't like the ending but I loved it. I thought that it was such a great and unexpected twist to the story. I think that I will read Handle with care to but first I want to read The plain truth by Jodi Picult.
